Wizlo has selected Gr4vy to strengthen its telehealth payments infrastructure, giving it greater control over payment data tied to recurring care.
The arrangement is intended to reduce Wizlo's dependence on individual payment processors in a sector where billing interruptions can affect ongoing treatment. Wizlo provides software and operational infrastructure for telehealth businesses in the United States, covering patient intake, clinical care, prescription fulfilment, billing and subscription management.
Payments are central to telehealth businesses that rely on subscriptions and repeat orders for treatment programmes. Processor policies, sponsor bank requirements and card network rules can shift quickly, creating operational risk for providers that need recurring billing to continue without disruption.
Before adopting Gr4vy, Wizlo used direct integrations with processors, so each additional provider required engineering work. Some payment orchestration products also rely on tokens linked to specific processors or gateways, making it harder to move payment data between providers.
Under the new setup, Wizlo can connect to several payment providers through a single integration, including Stripe, Adyen, Authorize.Net and Google Pay. This should make it easier to add processors and payment methods as client requirements change.
Gr4vy's system also supports processor-independent tokenisation, which Wizlo said gives it ownership of its payment data. According to the companies, that structure allows transactions to be rerouted or providers to be changed without interrupting the payment experience for patients.
Recurring care
The arrangement is particularly relevant for telehealth providers offering ongoing treatment plans. Wizlo said it has built subscription logic around prescription renewals and medication schedules, linking recurring billing to the cadence of patient care.
Its platform uses a multi-tenant architecture, allowing enterprise clients to manage their own payment environments on top of the broader system. This is important for larger telehealth operators with differing processor relationships and payment requirements.
Wizlo serves telehealth providers across the United States, with a focus on longevity and weight loss, and is onboarding more than 15 enterprise clients.

Sector pressures
The deal reflects broader pressure on digital health companies to keep payment systems flexible while meeting the demands of regulated healthcare services. In telehealth, the issue goes beyond simple checkout processing because failed recurring payments can affect access to treatment programmes that run over long periods.
For operators in sectors such as weight loss and longevity, subscription billing is often closely tied to continued prescribing and fulfilment. That means payment resilience can have direct operational consequences for providers managing patient retention and treatment continuity.
Wizlo said the Gr4vy platform includes intelligent routing and dynamic retry functions to help maintain payment continuity as processor policies and regulatory requirements evolve. Those tools are meant to limit failed payments and reduce friction when a provider needs to switch or add payment partners.
