Cloudera has enlisted the expertise of seven-time World Champion Tom Brady as a guest speaker in its annual Sales Kick-Off event, ELEVATE26, where influential insights were shared on leadership, perseverance, and teamwork.

Held from 10 to 13 February at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach, ELEVATE26 inaugurated Cloudera's new fiscal year, with Brady taking centre stage.

His experiences and advice on maintaining motivation, adopting a solution-first mindset, and exceeding expectations were in alignment with Cloudera's strategic goals for the coming year.

In his remarks, Cloudera's Chief Executive Officer Charles Sansbury highlighted the pivotal success the company experienced in 2024, achieving over USD $1 billion in revenue.

He commented, "The success we achieved last year is just the beginning. Tom said it best: never settle. That's exactly the mantra we're going to bring into 2025 as we continue to push the boundaries of what's possible for our customers by delivering on the promise of supporting true hybrid, enabling modern data architectures, and accelerating enterprise AI."

Chief Revenue Officer Frank O'Dowd expressed the significance of having Brady as the keynote speaker, saying, "As one of the undisputed greatest athletes of all time, Tom was the perfect keynote speaker for our team this week. Cloudera has an unwavering commitment to being the best at what we do. We've had an incredibly successful year and are prepared to continue to lead the AI and data space and model the way into the future."

Cloudera has fortified its position in the AI and data management industry through substantial enhancement of its platform and partnership ecosystem.

Remarkable developments included the acquisition of Verta's operational AI platform and Octopai's data lineage and catalog platform. The company has also launched new AI capabilities, such as AI assistants and a retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) studio.

The annual event assembled over 700 employees, emphasising Cloudera's dedication to sustaining its growth trajectory and leadership within the data and AI sectors.

Brady's appearance was intended to instil a culture of resilience and aspiration among the team, setting the tone for continued achievements in the new year.

The company plans to further its commitment to innovation and efficiency by focusing on supporting hybrid models and aiding enterprises in developing modern data architectures.
