PPDS promotes Bruce Wyrwitzke to Senior Director of Sales role

Tue, 28th Oct 2025

PPDS has announced the promotion of Bruce Wyrwitzke to Senior Director of Sales for North America.

Bruce Wyrwitzke joined PPDS in 2021 as Sales Director, bringing with him more than two decades of experience in the audiovisual sector, including previous service as a United States Air Force officer specialising in space systems.

During his initial tenure at PPDS, Wyrwitzke is reported to have played a key role in strengthening the company's position within the North American market. He and his team continued to surpass sales expectations, driving the expansion of Philips Professional Displays and related hardware and software solutions across the region.

In his elevated capacity as Senior Director of Sales, Wyrwitzke will be responsible for overseeing all of PPDS' sales activities throughout North America. This covers product lines including digital signage, interactive displays, videowalls, dvLED, and professional televisions, as well as the company's complementary hardware and software offerings.

The remit of his new role includes direct support of partners, customers, and colleagues engaged in projects that reach beyond the United States, reflecting the company's broader ambitions for its display solutions within international markets.

Wyrwitzke will report to Angela Lin, who is Commercial Head for North America at PPDS. His main responsibilities will include defining both mid and long-term sales strategies for the region, setting and achieving quarterly sales targets, managing supply chain and post-sales services, and raising awareness around the unique features and advantages of the Philips Professional Displays portfolio.

PPDS has outlined a strategy to provide tailored solutions to key industry verticals in North America. These sectors include retail, education, broadcast, corporate, transportation, public venues, stadia, theme parks, government and security (including control rooms), hospitality, houses of worship, and food and beverage services.

Another priority for Wyrwitzke will be supporting clients and educational institutions in their efforts to meet sustainability goals. PPDS has been focusing on the expansion of its low-power and long-life display products. Among these are the 'zero power' Philips Tableaux ePaper range and the Philips Signage 3650 EcoDesign (QE-Line) display. The QE-Line's 50-inch model recently became the first signage display to be awarded an EPEAT Climate+ Gold rating.

PPDS' parent company, TPV Technology, recently secured the EcoVadis Platinum Medal, an accolade that identifies it as one of the most sustainable organisations globally. This achievement will form a part of the messaging that Wyrwitzke and his team intend to communicate to partners and customers.

Commenting on his new role, Bruce said: "Since I walked through the door in 2021, PPDS has been a company which continues to grow and amaze. Today, thanks to our impressive range of Philips Professional Displays and our committed teams, PPDS is a company that's impossible to ignore. We're a solid part of the conversation. I'm proud to be entrusted to lead this talented team and our company forward to even greater success."

Angela Lin also commented on Wyrwitzke's promotion: "Bruce has proved himself to be an accomplished leader and committed member of the PPDS team in North America. The foundations have been laid, and we see some incredible opportunities ahead. On behalf of the entire PPDS team, I wish Bruce every success. It is time to step up to the next level."
