Assistly launches as cloud solution for care homes

Tue, 27th May 2025

Charter Global has introduced Assistly, a cloud-based platform developed in 90 days and tailored for small to mid-sized senior care facilities.

The platform was created under the leadership of Chief Technology Officer Rajesh Indurthi. Indurthi, who also operates a personal care home, identified inefficiencies and compliance challenges faced by smaller facilities in the senior care sector. Drawing on this experience, he and a team of five engineers began work on the solution from his basement, which aimed to digitise care documentation, automate medication tracking, strengthen compliance processes, and improve communication between caregivers and families.

"I knew there was a gap. Legacy platforms were either too expensive or too complex. Smaller care homes were left behind. We built Assistly to be simple, affordable and powerful without the red tape," said Rajesh Indurthi, CTO of Charter Global.

The development process for Assistly was managed through the Charter Global Innovation Hub, taking the concept to a workable product in under four months. The result, according to Charter Global, demonstrates the company's approach to turning ideas into tangible products for various industries.

Assistly's feature set includes AI-powered resident documentation and care tracking, medication scheduling with real-time alerts, and a secure communication portal for families. The platform is designed to adhere to HIPAA and GDPR data security standards and provides predictive analytics for staffing and care planning. In addition, Assistly integrates with electronic medical records, scheduling, and billing systems, catering to the operational needs of care facilities.

Planned enhancements are set to introduce further features such as AI-driven smart scheduling and personalised care plans. A new compliance module will soon be available to support regulatory requirements. The updates will also include advanced reporting and analytics dashboards aimed at personal care home operators, caregivers, and family members.

Charter Global attributes the swift development of Assistly to its use of generative AI software development tools. Its methodology incorporates deep discovery, rapid prototyping, agile development, and continuous testing in a secure, scalable cloud environment.

"Assistly is proof. Proof that we don't just consult. We build. Our ideation-to-launch services aren't theory. They're engineered for speed, quality and purpose," said Murli Reddy, CEO of Charter Global.

Charter Global intends to extend its ideation-to-launch services beyond healthcare, with plans to support other sectors including fintech and supply chain management. The company highlights the flexibility of its approach for a broad range of clients.

"We built Assistly for the caregiving world. But our model works for any company with a bold idea. You bring the vision, we'll bring it to life," said Indurthi.
