Vtoman launches FlashSpeed power stations for backup use

VTOMAN has launched the FlashSpeed 2400 and FlashSpeed Pro 3600 portable power stations, expanding its FlashSpeed range with models aimed at backup power and off-grid use.

The new additions include a 2400W model and a 3600W model, both using lithium iron phosphate batteries and uninterruptible power supply functions designed to keep devices running during outages.

The FlashSpeed 2400 is the smaller of the two, but is still positioned for home backup, travel and outdoor work. It has a 1408Wh battery, 2400W continuous output and 3200W peak output.

VTOMAN says the unit can fully recharge from AC power in one hour through a 1500W input. It also supports up to 600W of solar charging and can reach a full charge in 0.8 hours when AC and solar inputs are combined.

The model includes 12 output ports, a 10ms UPS switchover and a built-in 12V jump-starter. It can be expanded to 2688Wh with an additional battery, and its cells are rated for more than 3,000 cycles.

The larger FlashSpeed Pro 3600 is aimed at users who need higher output and longer runtime for household appliances, tools and remote work. It has a 3096Wh battery, 3600W continuous output and 6000W peak output.

AC charging reaches 1800W, allowing a full recharge in about two hours. Using AC and solar together cuts that to 80 minutes, while the system also supports 800W solar input through an Anderson connection.

The Pro 3600 has 14 output ports and can be expanded to 6192Wh. It includes a UPS function with a switchover time of less than 20ms and is fitted with a pull handle and rollers for transport.

In the US, the FlashSpeed 2400 is priced at USD $699.99, compared with a recommended retail price of USD $799.99. In the UK, VTOMAN lists the model at GBP £699.99.

The FlashSpeed Pro 3600 is priced at USD $1,299.99 in the US. UK pricing is listed between GBP £1289.99 and GBP £1299.99.

Both products use LiFePO4 battery chemistry, which has become common in newer portable power systems because of its cycle life and thermal stability. Each unit includes a battery management system with 10 layers of safety monitoring and is designed for a lifespan of up to 10 years.

VTOMAN is targeting several use cases for the new models, including storm preparation, recreational vehicle travel, roadside emergencies and off-grid work. That reflects a broader push by portable energy brands to market battery stations not only as camping accessories but also as alternatives to small fuel generators in homes and mobile settings.

Backup market

Battery power stations have gained ground as households look for quieter alternatives to combustion-based backup systems and as remote workers seek portable electricity for internet equipment, laptops and small appliances. Features such as UPS switching and fast recharging have become more prominent as manufacturers try to appeal to users who want backup for routers, network-attached storage and other sensitive electronics.

VTOMAN positions the FlashSpeed 2400 for users who want a lighter unit that can still support household and travel needs. It weighs 41 lbs and includes a flat-top design, built-in handle and storage compartment for cables.

The Pro 3600 is positioned as the more substantial home-backup option of the two. VTOMAN says it weighs 30kg, which it describes as 10kg lighter than similar high-capacity models, while still being able to run devices such as refrigerators, air conditioners, microwaves and power tools at the same time.

The two products also differ in backup switching times. The FlashSpeed 2400 offers a 10ms UPS switchover, while the Pro 3600 switches in less than 20ms, according to the published specifications.

Other features vary by model. The smaller unit includes a five-mode LED light and a jump-start function for petrol engines up to 8L and diesel engines up to 6L, while the larger system focuses on higher output, expanded storage and support for more devices through its larger port selection.

Both models are being sold through VTOMAN's online channels and through Amazon in the US and UK.
