New MTP, KD Global pact eases EU SME expansion to US & Canada

Tue, 18th Nov 2025

Meet The People and KD Global USA have formed a partnership to assist small and medium-sized European enterprises in expanding to the United States and Canada.

Market access

The partnership is set to provide European businesses with a single, streamlined solution for market entry, reducing the time and complexity often associated with new launches in North America. Both companies say the service caters specifically to the needs of SMEs that may lack the resources to engage with large, international agency networks.

The collaboration reflects the European roots of both companies' leadership teams and aims to offer a transatlantic perspective and support without high levels of overhead. The founders have positioned the alliance as a more personal and agile solution for firms wary of entering a new region without on-the-ground support. Services are tailored to accommodate the needs and constraints of growing brands, including demand for risk mitigation and cost-effective operations.

The companies state their approach leans heavily on cultural alignment for European firms as they seek to navigate unfamiliar regulatory and commercial environments.

KD Global USA will act as the primary import company, ensuring brands can manage inbound shipments, storage, fulfilment, return logistics, and local distribution. The company also provides assistance with Food and Drug Administration regulations and product insurance, two areas viewed as critical by many export-focused companies trying to meet North American norms and standards.

"As the import company of record, we simplify inbound logistics first - then add warehousing, fulfilment, distribution, FDA support, and insurance - so European brands can operate confidently while MTP drives demand," said Patrick Koehler, Managing Director, KD Global USA.

Meet The People will provide marketing and eCommerce services, including creative asset production, eCommerce setup across platforms such as Amazon and Walmart, advertising, online product content, and performance-driven campaigns designed to increase visibility and sales.

"This alliance gives European entrepreneurs an actionable and realistic way to start selling and growing in North America," said Tim Ringel, Founder & CEO, Meet The People. "Our team sets up the creative, marketing, and eCommerce foundation, while KD Global - starting with import - delivers the operational reliability to make it work. It's a 360° growth model built for agile, ambitious European SMEs."

Targeting SMEs

The alliance targets European small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) seeking to expand without the high costs typically associated with large network agency support. Services offered include market entry guidance, establishment of eCommerce infrastructure, and performance-focused advertising programmes designed to increase visibility and drive sales.

The approach provides what the companies describe as a 360-degree market-entry ecosystem, handling compliance and operational requirements alongside creative and promotional activities. European companies using the service can reduce complexity related to import management and streamline the process of establishing a presence in North America.
