Markable has launched new artificial intelligence tools for social commerce creators, adding a video editor and 3D product collage features to its platform.
It has also upgraded its Auto-DM feature, which sends shopping links when followers engage with posts, expanding a product set aimed at influencers and creator-led retail.
The new Generative AI Video Editor turns raw creator footage into finished shoppable videos. The tool can generate scripts and voiceovers, alter backgrounds, and improve on-screen presentation while keeping the underlying product representation intact.
A second addition, 3D AI Product Collages, assembles selected items into visuals designed for social posts and storefront-style content. The feature builds on an earlier collage tool already available on the platform.
The rollout comes as social commerce grows in scale in the US market. Markable cited eMarketer forecasts showing US social commerce sales will pass USD $100 billion in 2026, while the wider creator economy is expected to exceed USD $1 trillion within the decade.
Founded by Joy Tang, a former Wall Street high-frequency trader with a background in machine learning, Markable positions itself as a platform for creators seeking to link content more directly to eCommerce transactions. It says it works with 1,000 top creators and has supported more than USD $1 billion in sales.
According to Markable, sales generated through its platform have doubled over the past year. It also says some brands are shifting as much as 70% of their marketing budgets to creators, up from around 10% a few years ago.
Market shift
Markable's expansion reflects broader changes in digital marketing, with brands directing more spending toward creator partnerships and measurable sales channels. Tools that connect posts, messages, and videos to product links have become a larger part of that strategy as retailers seek direct returns from social media activity.
Its software is intended to help creators manage editing, product linking, direct messaging, and storefront functions in one place. Existing features include Smart Deep Links, Storefront Sync, and Link-in-Bio tools, alongside AI collage and messaging functions.
The company also operates a USD $100 million creator fund to support promotion of content through paid advertising. Markable says that combination of software and marketing spend has helped creators increase revenue, though it did not provide independent verification of those claims.
Tang linked the product launch to rising demand from both creators and brands for faster content production tied to online shopping.
"Social commerce is growing faster than any other channel in retail, and creators are the ones driving it," said Joy Tang, Founder and CEO, Markable.
"Digital-first brands are following the audiences. We see some brands shifting as much as 70% of their marketing budgets to creators, up from roughly 10% just a few years ago. The next wave of this industry belongs to creators who can produce professional, high-converting content at the speed of their ideas. Our entire company is built to help creators seize this opportunity by collapsing the distance between inspiration and income," said Tang.
Creator tools
Markable is trying to distinguish its approach from AI tools that change imagery or create unrealistic product presentations. Instead, it says the new editing functions focus on background enhancement, stronger hooks, and storytelling adjustments based on real product data.
That approach addresses a growing concern in influencer marketing over trust and disclosure, particularly as generative AI becomes more common in commercial content. Platforms and brands have faced questions over whether AI-altered images and videos could mislead viewers about how products actually look or perform.
Markable says its latest tools are designed to preserve authenticity while reducing the time needed to turn raw footage and product selections into publishable material. Both tools are now available to creators using its platform.
The business has also introduced a new brand identity as part of its latest expansion. It says it serves the top 1% of creators and is used by thousands of people producing commerce-focused content.
Two creators included in the launch materials pointed to stronger conversion rates and greater use of automation after adopting the platform.
"What the Markable app has provided is the closest I've gotten to actually automating my business. I saw a 70% increase in conversions since I switched everything over," said Kristin Mango, @alittlebitofmango.
"I would never have imagined in a million years that DM automation and all the features that Markable AI offers would truly change my business and make it more profitable than it was. One of my very good content creator friends told me about Markable AI, and I'm so glad I listened to her and signed up, because it truly changed my life. I think they're one of the best apps out there, and their boosting program is just life-changing," said Hamai.
