Infosys signs 10-year deal to overhaul Crocs systems

Infosys has signed a 10-year agreement with Crocs to transform the footwear group's IT systems, with a focus on its global operations.
Under the arrangement, Infosys will modernise Crocs' core business and technology systems across its retail footprint. The programme is designed to streamline operations, standardise processes and support growth as Crocs responds to changing consumer demand and rising operating costs.
Crocs is rebuilding parts of its technology estate as retailers face pressure to improve efficiency while managing increasingly complex supply chains, data flows and customer expectations. The project will cover enterprise IT and business operations, focusing on unifying data and reducing the fragmentation that can emerge across international organisations.
The agreement gives Infosys a long-term role with a consumer brand that has a broad global presence. For Crocs, it signals sustained investment in the systems that support planning, operations and decision-making across the business.
Operational reset
Retailers and consumer brands have been reassessing legacy systems as online and store operations become more closely linked. The need to coordinate inventory, fulfilment, finance and customer information across markets has made system integration a central issue for large multinational groups.
The work is expected to address inconsistent processes and operational silos, while improving the speed at which Crocs can respond to market shifts and internal business needs.
Infosys described the programme as an enterprise-wide transformation rather than a single software upgrade, suggesting a broader overhaul of processes and data structures. Such projects can take years to complete and often require changes across several business functions at once.
Crocs has framed the initiative as part of a wider effort to build a more resilient digital foundation for its international business. Its aim is to simplify the operating model while giving management better access to real-time information.
Tom Britt, Chief Information Officer at Crocs, said, "As our organization reimagines its IT landscape, we sought a collaborator who could combine deep domain expertise with a commitment to innovation and operational excellence. By leveraging Infosys' proven delivery frameworks and advanced automation capabilities, we will optimize operations, reduce costs and scale responsibly-while driving continuous improvement and building a foundation for sustainable growth and digital resilience that positions Crocs, Inc. for the future."
Retail pressure
The backdrop to the agreement is a retail sector that has been investing heavily in system modernisation as margins come under strain. Businesses are weighing the cost of transformation against the risk of relying on ageing infrastructure that can limit visibility across operations and slow responses to demand shifts.
Crocs, known for its casual footwear brand, operates in a market where supply chain planning, merchandising and direct-to-consumer sales increasingly depend on connected data systems. In that environment, companies are turning to outsourcing and consulting groups for large, multi-year programmes that combine technology implementation with process redesign.
Infosys has been expanding its work with consumer, retail and logistics companies, particularly on projects involving automation, data integration and long-term managed services. The 10-year term is notable because it points to a relationship expected to continue well beyond the initial build phase and into ongoing operation and refinement.
The project is also intended to break down silos across the organisation and create a more unified operational structure. That approach is often used to improve consistency between regions and business units, particularly in groups that have expanded internationally over time.
Karmesh Vaswani, EVP and Global Head of Consumer, Retail & Logistics at Infosys, said, "The retail industry is at an unprecedented inflection point, where new AI augmented, digital imaginations can be industrialized rapidly. Crocs, Inc. is making a bold commitment to digital transformation. We are proud to collaborate with a global footwear business that's willing to reimagine its operations from the ground up. Our AI-first approach will drive purposeful performance improvements unlocking AI value across Crocs, Inc.'s global operations, scale unique innovations and accelerate profitable growth in this fast-changing global retail landscape."
The initiative is also intended to improve decision-making by giving teams more timely operational information across the business. It is meant to support a more standardised and responsive organisation as Crocs manages growth across its global retail operations.
