HONOR 600 series launches in Singapore first worldwide

Fri, 24th Apr 2026 (Today)

HONOR has launched the HONOR 600 Series in Singapore, making the market the first globally to receive the new smartphone line.

The range includes the HONOR 600 and HONOR 600 Pro, with prices starting at SGD $799. The Pro model is priced at SGD $1,099 for a 12GB/512GB version, while the standard model costs SGD $799 for a 12GB/256GB version.

The launch gives Singapore an early role in the rollout of the new handsets. The devices are aimed at buyers seeking higher-end specifications at prices below typical flagship models.

Camera focus

A central feature of the new series is its camera system. The HONOR 600 Pro includes a 50MP telephoto camera with up to 120x zoom and image stabilisation to support long-distance and low-light photography.

The standard HONOR 600 offers up to 30x zoom. Both phones feature a 200MP main camera and a Night Engine system designed to improve images captured in darker conditions.

HONOR is placing particular emphasis on photography and video creation as smartphone competition shifts from raw hardware specifications to user-facing software features. Camera quality remains a key point of differentiation in the mid-range and premium segments.

AI tools

The new handsets also include AI Image to Video 2.0, a tool that lets users create short clips from still images on the device. Users can combine up to three images with prompts to produce video sequences lasting three to five seconds.

The feature includes templates and effects aimed at social media and general content creation. HONOR is among a growing number of smartphone brands adding image and video generation tools directly to mobile devices as artificial intelligence becomes a bigger selling point in consumer electronics.

Battery and chips

Battery capacity is another headline specification in the 600 Series. Both models have a 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, 80W wired charging and 27W wired reverse charging, while the Pro model also supports 50W wireless charging.

The Pro version uses Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. HONOR described the standard model as balancing performance and efficiency, but did not specify the chipset in material released for the Singapore launch.

The combination of larger batteries, faster charging and more advanced processors reflects a broader push by handset makers to address consumer concerns around daily battery life, mobile gaming and multitasking. These factors have become more important as replacement cycles lengthen and buyers expect more from devices they keep for several years.

Retail push

Pre-orders for the new phones are available through HONOR stores, online marketplaces, authorised retailers and Singapore telecom operators. Sales channels include Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, Harvey Norman, Challenger, Courts, Gain City, Best Denki, Popular, KrisShop, Singtel, M1 and StarHub.

HONOR is also offering launch incentives. Customers who order the HONOR 600 Pro will receive a HONOR Pad X8b, a 365-day front screen crack replacement offer and a one-year extended warranty, with the package valued at up to SGD $640.

Buyers of the standard HONOR 600 will receive a Fujifilm Instax Mini Link 3, the same 365-day front screen crack replacement offer and a one-year extended warranty, with the package valued at up to SGD $557.

Both phones will be available in Orange, Golden White and Black.
