BillingPlatform introduces BP Pay for seamless transactions

Fri, 28th Mar 2025

BillingPlatform has announced the launch of BP Pay, their new payment processing solution designed to simplify payment integration for businesses.

The new offering aims to eliminate the reliance on third-party payment systems, allowing businesses to integrate billing, invoicing, and payment processing under a single platform. This promises a unified customer experience, potential cost reductions, streamlined operations, and enhanced payment efficiency.

BP Pay is engineered for seamless interoperability between billing and payments, transforming the "swivel chair" process – switching between multiple systems for data – into a single automated workflow. With this integration, businesses can avoid external connectors and manual interventions, which is expected to result in faster system implementations, centralised compliance, and a better customer experience.

The solution is currently available and has already been adopted by multiple customers, including a notable insurance technology provider. This client has been utilising BillingPlatform's comprehensive range of revenue lifecycle management solutions for more than three years, and the addition of BP Pay is intended to support further business growth.

Igor Stenmark, Managing Director and co-founder of MGI Research, stated, "BP Pay addresses customer demand for increased revenue and cash visibility and control with a seamless solution that combines billing, invoicing and payment processing in a single platform. This type of integrated capability should help organisations remove friction from customer experience and reduce revenue leakage."

BP Pay seeks to address several critical issues faced by businesses using disparate billing and payments solutions. It promises optimised payment processing through native functionality that reduces the need for external systems, thus decreasing downtime and failures.

Through end-to-end automation, BP Pay aims to streamline workflows, minimising manual tasks and facilitating smoother operations. Ensuring reliable performance and single-vendor support, the solution is also expected to enhance customer satisfaction and simplify issue resolution.

The solution boasts of improving business efficiency, offering faster implementation and centralised PCI DSS compliance, which is likely to reduce setup time and lighten regulatory burdens. Additionally, BP Pay's unified audit trails are designed to simplify and enhance the reliability of record-keeping.

Dennis Wall, CEO of BillingPlatform, commented, "By offering best-in-class payments processing directly into our platform, we're doing more than just simplifying processes, we're also helping enterprises unlock new levels of business agility and customer satisfaction. BP Pay underscores our vision of providing a complete revenue management solution that adapts to the dynamic needs of modern digital enterprises worldwide."

BillingPlatform prides itself on being recognised in various industry reports and awards. The company was named Leader in several assessments, including Forrester Research's "The Forrester Wave: Recurring Billing Solutions, Q1 2025", Gartner's Magic Quadrant for Recurring Billing Applications, and received numerous accolades across diverse industry platforms.
