Authentic Interactions adds tech leaders to AI board

Thu, 12th Feb 2026

AI Inc., the parent company of conversational video business StoryFile, has added four senior technology and media figures to its advisory board as it develops what it calls "hyper-realistic digital humans" for consumer and business use.

The new advisers are Adam Cheyer, a co-founder of Siri; Tom Ryan, a co-founder of Pluto TV and former chief executive of Paramount+; Jarred Land, former chief executive and co-owner of RED Digital Cinema and a co-owner of RSH Studios; and Michael Staenberg, a real estate developer and philanthropist.

AI Inc. trades as Authentic Interactions. It operates as an AI lab focused on tools that generate lifelike digital people that can speak and respond in video form. StoryFile sits within the group and has previously worked on conversational video installations for museums.

The appointments add experience across voice assistants, streaming distribution, film production and business building, as the group expands its work on digital human technology.

Product focus

AI Inc. is building "foundational AI models and tools" for digital humans that look and sound like real people. The systems are designed to reproduce a person's behaviour in conversation, with expected use by individuals, creators and businesses.

It outlined two main use cases: personal legacy, where a person's knowledge and presence are preserved for future generations; and business deployment, where a digital human acts as an always-on representative across customer experience, sales and operations.

StoryFile has positioned its work around "museum-grade digital humans". It cited deployments at The Walmart Museum and the National Medal of Honor Museum. It has also described itself as active in "grief tech", covering products linked to bereavement and memorialisation.

Advisory additions

Cheyer is known for work on early intelligent assistants. AI Inc. tied his appointment to product innovation in human-centred AI and expects his input on ethical standards and natural interaction.

Ryan has a background in streaming and content platforms, including co-founding Pluto TV and leading Paramount+. AI Inc. linked his role to distribution strategy, audience growth and entertainment partnerships.

Land previously led RED Digital Cinema, a camera company associated with high-end digital film production, and co-owns RSH Studios. AI Inc. said his experience aligns with production quality and its efforts to expand work with Hollywood.

Staenberg has built ventures in property development and is known for philanthropic activity. AI Inc. connected his role to growth strategy, institutional partnerships and community impact.

Public access

AI Inc. is making its models and hardware available through Lookalike.com, which it says lets users create a digital human in minutes. It did not disclose pricing, availability details or the specific hardware involved.

The products sit within a fast-growing market for synthetic media, including AI-generated audio, video and avatars. The sector has drawn interest from entertainment, marketing and customer service teams, alongside concerns about consent, provenance and misuse. Companies in the space increasingly face scrutiny over safeguards, identity verification and disclosure of AI-generated content.

AI Inc. said its research spans 3D modelling, generative audio and video, and textual reasoning, but provided no technical detail on model architecture or how it trains and validates output.

Alex Quinn, chief executive of Authentic Interactions, framed the advisory board expansion as part of a push to simplify the creation process.

"AI Inc. is focused on one clear outcome: making it simple for anyone to create a hyper-realistic digital human," said Alex Quinn, CEO of Authentic Interactions. "Adam, Tom, Jarred, and Michael all have one thing in common: they are all some of the most impressive entrepreneurs I've ever met, and each bring rare, world-class experience in building category-defining products and scaling hyper-growth businesses. They are uniquely qualified to help lead AI Inc. through this period of hyper-growth."

The advisers will work with leadership on product development and partnerships, with a focus on broader adoption in consumer and enterprise markets.
