Yaspa names Justin Fraser Chief Revenue Officer for growth

Wed, 11th Feb 2026

Yaspa has appointed payments industry executive Justin Fraser as Chief Revenue Officer as it expands internationally across the UK, Europe and North America.

Fraser joins from a career that has included senior roles at Cybersource, Visa and Paysafe. Yaspa said he brings more than 20 years of commercial leadership experience in the payments sector.

The appointment comes as Yaspa steps up its international growth plans and builds out its commercial organisation. Fraser will join the executive team and lead global commercial strategy.

Commercial remit

As CRO, Fraser will oversee plans to scale Yaspa's Intelligent Payment platform. The product combines open banking payments with AI-driven customer insights, the company said. Yaspa positions the platform as a way for merchants to take account-to-account payments through "Pay by Bank" and access verified customer insight features.

His remit spans the UK, Europe and North America. Yaspa said it plans further growth in the US market, with Fraser expected to play a central role.

Chief Executive James Neville linked the appointment to expansion in the US and other markets, with an emphasis on meeting regulatory requirements in payments.

"We are thrilled to welcome Justin to the team during this period of rapid acceleration. His deep expertise in navigating complex regulatory environments and his proven track record in scaling payment solutions are invaluable assets as we expand our footprint in the US and beyond. Justin's appointment further strengthens our leadership as we continue to help businesses lower costs, grow revenues, and enhance financial compliance through open banking," said James Neville, Chief Executive, Yaspa.

Fraser said the market is shifting toward real-time payments and described Yaspa's approach as combining open banking with what the company calls AI-verified insights.

"Yaspa is at the forefront of the shift toward real-time payments. The company's unique blend of open banking and AI-verified insights solves genuine friction for merchants, particularly in industries like iGaming. I am excited to join such an innovative team and look forward to driving the next phase of our commercial growth globally," said Fraser.

Sector focus

Yaspa said Fraser has worked in regulated and fast-growing verticals, including iGaming, crypto and fintech. The company said this experience aligns with its customer base of merchants in sectors with strict compliance requirements.

Account-to-account payments have become a focus area for fintechs and payment providers using open banking rails in the UK and parts of Europe. These companies market bank transfers as an alternative to card payments in certain use cases, often citing lower processing costs and reduced exposure to card fraud. However, they can face adoption hurdles around consumer experience and merchant integration.

Yaspa links payment initiation with checks and verification services. The company said it offers payment and account verification alongside its "Pay by Bank" product, as well as AI-based verified customer insights.

US build-out

Fraser will work with Yaspa's US team, which the company said it has recently strengthened. The group includes US Sales Lead Peter Kula and US Senior Solutions Manager Jackson Esoda.

Yaspa has been expanding its operational footprint beyond London. It has operations in Atlanta and Leeds, and offices in London, Leeds and Atlanta.

Yaspa said it is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority in the UK and operates across the UK, Europe and the US.

Recent growth

The appointment follows a period of headcount growth at Yaspa. The company said its workforce increased from 15 to 75 employees over the past year.

Yaspa also reported closing a USD $12 million investment round led by Discerning Capital, but did not disclose valuation details.

As it builds its profile, Yaspa cited the 2025 Payments Award for Real-Time Payments Innovation and inclusion on the CB Insights Top 100 Fintech list. It also said it was named Best Payment Solutions Provider at the 2026 European iGaming Awards.

Fraser said he expects to lead the next phase of Yaspa's commercial growth globally.
