IDeaS scores triple recognition at 2026 HotelTechAwards

Thu, 15th Jan 2026

IDeaS has been recognised in three categories in the 2026 HotelTechAwards, with top placements in Budgeting and Meetings & Events Intelligence and a first runner-up position in the Revenue Management System category.

The travel technology supplier said the results reflected demand for tools that connect commercial planning and execution. The company positions its products around forecasting, pricing, budgeting and group business decisions.

Awards categories

HotelTechAwards listed IDeaS among the winners in Budgeting, Meetings & Events Intelligence and Revenue Management System. The company said it was the only provider recognised across more than one of the categories described as central to commercial operations.

IDeaS took the top placement in both Budgeting and Meetings & Events Intelligence. It placed first runner-up in the Revenue Management System category.

HotelTechAwards run annually under HotelTechReport. The programme uses verified customer feedback and assesses product innovation and results reported by hotel teams, according to the awards description provided by IDeaS.

Commercial focus

IDeaS describes itself as a provider of hospitality revenue management software. It also describes itself as part of SAS.

The company said hotels face pressure to coordinate decisions across teams rather than rely on separate processes. It pointed to forecasting, pricing, budgeting and group optimisation as functions that influence each other in day-to-day operations.

The awards recognition also lands as hotels and hotel groups continue to invest in technology that targets profitability and planning. Revenue management systems have become a standard purchase for many operators, while budgeting tools and meetings and events systems have seen renewed attention as properties seek tighter control over demand and space allocation.

Company statement

IDeaS linked the recognition to its product development priorities and its use of AI in revenue management workflows.

"Hotels today need intelligent technology that connects every commercial decision. Recognition across these categories reinforces our focus on helping teams plan smarter, price with confidence, and drive measurable results. We continue to invest in AI-driven innovation that helps hospitality teams navigate volatility, improve profitability, and deliver better guest experiences, earning the trust of tens of thousands of hotels worldwide as we move into 2026," said Dr. Ravi Mehrotra, President, Co-Founder & Chief Scientist, IDeaS.

Market presence

IDeaS said it serves a range of hospitality segments, including independent hotels, resorts and global hotel chains. It also said it works with cruise lines and parking brands.

The company reported more than 30,000 installations globally. It positioned that footprint as evidence of broad uptake of revenue management software across the sector.

Hotel operators have increasingly used revenue management tools beyond daily room pricing. Many systems now link to planning and forecasting processes, and some vendors offer adjacent modules for meetings and events, group business and budgeting.

IDeaS said it will continue investment in AI-driven product development as it seeks further adoption among hotel groups and individual properties.
